Stat Growth, Fixed or Kill Based?

The stat growth, is it based on what pokemon you Knock Out, or is it a fixed amount each level?

Stats are set to the Pokemon’s level.
Just like PMD.

For Example: A Player with a lv 5 Cyndaquil (no equips) and a different player with lv 5 cyndaquil (no equips) will have the same stats as each other.

Just every level up it’ll change.

._. But does it means most Pokemon have weak def?

Apparently…
Hence the def scarf…? D:

I see, thanks all XD

And being the same as PMD, figures since I never bothered figuring the stat system there, XD no one to play with there.

Also, Def.Scarf is awesome : O I love it, hardly get damage on my training grounds.

I know right?! I was so excited when I first went into sour root with my def scarf XD

Some Pokemon have better defenses and/or special defenses than others.
Take my Flareon for an example, It has base 29 Defense at Level 52 which low, However it has a special defense stat of 42.

Remember, some Pokémon have entirely different stats in respect to their evolutions, too. Take the Ralts line for example:

Ralts has the highest Special Attack of the line in early levels along with higher HP then Kirlia and Gardevoir, but can’t learn any decent moves for a while, Kirlia is the most balanced, having the median of all stats, Gardevoir has the lowest HP, but the highest Special Attack in later levels (and is the only one with access to Wish and Healing Wish…Not like you’d want to use the latter), and Gallade has the highest HP and Attack. Not every evolution is necessarily an improvement.

Considering Ralt’s base stats are 28/25/25/45/35/40, Kirlia’s are 38/35/35/65/55/50, Gardevoir’s are 68/65/65/125/115/80 and Gallade’s are the same as Gardevoir’s, only eith their offensive stats switched, no.

In the Mystery Dungeon series (which PMU presumably takes it’s stat calculations from) BST from the main series has little to do with how a Pokémon’s stats will actually be like. This explains why the Shaymin in EoS you recruit has so little HP compared to even unevolved Pokémon at the same level, though certain characteristics, such as Gallade’s attacking stats being reverse to Gardevoir’s persist from the main games, if only loosely. If PMU’s stats ARE in fact calculated using the main game’s stats, then excuse this post.

PMD just became stupider than I thought.

However, I dont know how the in game stats are calculated. They certainly are not based on the main series (eg, Bronzors lwoest stats in PMU are its defences…), but I dont know if they are based on PMD or not. As far as I can tell, most levels gain you 3-4 hp and 1 of every other stat.(of course it varies depending on the pokemon).
