This is actually really tough for me to answer, it really all depends on the time in my gaming career in which you ask this question… So I might as well come up with a few answers~
As of right now, I am more so a PC gamer than anything, in all honest I have some what given up on console gaming until something of interest shows up. My reasons behind this? :
Well for one the Xbox 360 if pretty outdated technology (At least in the current standards of modern gaming computers).
There really isn’t any games on the PS3 that I actually want to buy, If they would actually decide to put a new Kingdom Hearts game or a good Bioware title on the PS3, I would probably use the one I currently have much more, but that currently isn’t the case.
I still enjoy my Nintendo Wii, but the only problem is that I am missing specific materials to actually use it, and I am having a hard time finding replacement parts. If I had the things I needed, I would probably play things like Monster Hunter, or Mario Party/Kart (If friends or family were over, that is.)
So as of right now, my Xbox360, PS3, and Nintendo Wii are all collecting dust in storage~
So if I had to choose one of my favorite games as of this time (Which would have to be a PC title), it would be Star Wars: The Old Republic (Which also falls under my favorite game company since it is made by Bioware~)
If you were to ask me the same questions a few years ago, I would probably answer with the Xbox Original being my favorite console out of the three mainstream consoles (That being the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox Original)
You are probably wondering why I chose the Xbox, given that the Xbox Original wasn’t all that great and was probably the least popular out of the three consoles at the time. It possibly had the poorest design out of them all (Examples being: The original Xbox was much less portable, very clunky controllers, not a very large range of games, and possibly the most expensive of the three consoles). So why did I pick it? I can sum it up with three names:
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, The Sith Lords
&
The Elderscrolls III: Morrowind
I can not even imagine how much game times I have spent in all three of those games combined (Much more time then I spent on any other console, that is a fact). Morrowind alone I played for about two years, and I still play the two Knights of the Old Republic games to this day, having years of game play, and unlocking as many story options as I can.
I have to give the other two consoles some credit though, I had much more fun playing the Gamecube with my frieds or family, and I had some good times with my PS2 with games like the Kingdom Hearts series, Jak and Daxter, and many others…
The gamecube in my opinion had the best controller, but that is really all I can say up to this point… I could go farther back in consoles, but all of my answers would probably just be Nintendo related (-cough- N64 -cough-)
