Egg Bomb

Since the last update was released, I’ve found something distinctly curious about my Exeggutor. His move Egg Bomb, which previously worked much like Mud Bomb, has changed a whole lot - now seeming to function like Barrage.

The old Egg Bomb had an A.O.E of four squares [including the user’s square] in a single direction, and hit every Pokemon within those squares. The new Egg Bomb has a triangular A.O.E of four squares, and yet hits only the nearest Pokemon to the user.

This is a significant change, but I haven’t read anything mentioning the change in the recent Update threads. Was it intentional? It seems odd to turn a move which was useful to clean out thin corridors into a move with a completely different use.

When new moves, items, dungeons, and other content get released, they typically show up on the in-game news dashboard.

The News updates are there specifically for updates that occur by server restart. They are usually mechanics changes.

When peexisting items, moves, or maps get revamped or adjusted, it usually doesn’t get reported as that class of update is frequent and ongoing.

I can understand this - after all, minor changes are commonplace in a work in progress, and you guys are making quite relentless progress; I imagine minor changes are made quite often! :3

The only issue I has was that Mud Bomb and Egg Bomb seemed to work in exactly the same way, and now only one has been changed - it seemed a little inconsistent, so it surprised me, and I thought I’d raise it on the forum.
