Ideas

I believe a lot of dragon type lovers would be happy if there were more dragon types released.
I also believe if there were more unova Pokemon released people would be happier.
These are only suggestions…sorry if its worded wrong.

^______^ :x.x: Everyone Loves Dragon Types…Oh and unova starter evolution’s.

And The option to be able to transfer Pokemon from one account to another.

~My thoughts gardivor~

I do understand that staff are trying their hardest to update PMU

Dragon types are one of the more sparse types, and they are powerful and beloved by (most) everyone. So, the staff has attempted to release them slowly so that there isn’t just a flood of all the Dragons.

As for Unova Pokemon, the staff is unable to add something it doesn’t have assets for. The vast majority of Unova pokemon do not have PMU style sprites simply because the newest PMD game (Gates to Infinity) switched to a 3D model rather than continuing to use the (more charming) sprites.

That said, I believe the Team is always trying to find (or make) sprites for favorites of the Unova Pokemon (I.E. Galvantula, Zoroark, etc.)

As for the transferring idea, that depends on what EXACTLY you are suggesting. I don’t like the idea of being able to trade Pokemon, but if you want to keep your Pokemon and have a new character name, it would be useful to either make name-changes more readily-accessible or to allow you to move Pokemon from one character to the next. The issue that arises here is obvious confusion and a lack of control on such a system would lead to a toughness for the jobs of Mods and other staff in keeping track of trouble makers and what-have-you.

People want Garchomp, people want Salamence, people want Dragonite, people want Charizard, people want Flygon.

Let’s get this straight, Dragon Pokemon are by far the strongest type and if they were ever released there’d be nothing but Dragons running around including peer pressure to force many people to use them as well. A Dragon-type would pummel a Dungeon, would pummel the Arena and is well put to destroy absolutely everything. There’s a good reason Dragons are not released for years, PMD is where every Pokemon can shine but Dragons will still steal all the spotlight. Someone may happen to say they’d never use Dragons but see them around so much they too may even begin to use the Dragon. Simply put Dragons are very powerful and they take over the competitive game, there is a good reason they are not released and should not be released before any other Pokemon. Like Unova starter evolutions the Dragons will have to wait big time. They could even be bloody nerfed. The point is that if Dragons like the above mentioned were to be released a lot of people would flood all over them like Jinxatu stated. “A lot of Dragon type lovers” is the perfect example for this. Notice how for starters people may choose Charizard very often, etc etc. Dragons have a very well chance of taking over Pokemon popularity. I am afraid I disagree completely with this.

Furthermore, unlike Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, this one has all the TMs, it’s like a trainer game except Pokemon are their own trainers. All your stats are to the max, you aren’t a weakling like the PMD game, PMU is the actual thing where all stats are neutrally maxed without any Natures, so yes, Dragons will be powerful as usual and there are rare counters to them.

Finally, transferring is also a flaw in that I could simply make a bunch of new accounts give myself the starters and bam, I have all the starters and possibly even Event Pokemon I never got on said Alt.

I don’t like the idea of being able to trade Pokemon, but if you want to keep your Pokemon and have a new character name, it would be useful to either make name-changes more readily-accessible or to allow you to move Pokemon from one character to the next.

I actually would love this. However, the problem I forsee is that players would create accounts just for starters and then transfer those over…so you’d need to make the starters untransferrable. At the same time, this makes for a great money sink. I’d pay lucrative amounts to get some of my pokes onto my alt.

or to allow you to move Pokemon from one character to the next

I don"t quite agree with that, because of the fact that they could get as many starters as they want, for example; they make a account and choose a starter. They then make a new account and choose another starter. They can just send the different starter over and boom you have two starters.

Hmm, well sure, it would be awesome if more dragon types were to get released. But first of all, they can’t unless they make a new dungeon. Also; like everybody has been saying, everybody wants dragon types either because they are loved, really powerful, and just… dragons. The staff probably don’t intend to release them as quickly because as Jinx said, PMU would be flooded of dragon types which would be really awkward. Dragon types would flood PMU like said, and PMU will turn into a dragon type fiesta. ;D

Some Dragon-types have already been released. For example, Salamence is one of those. Anyway, Dragon is the strongest pokemon type out there with only a weakness to it’s own type and Ice. The Dratini line is also released, but just can’t be obtained yet. (My definition of released = Put into the game.) Anyway, I doubt staff will release more Dragon-types until a new dungeon is released at the very least.

Anyway, transferring pokemon to a new character? It could be troublesome to monitor, and about how people could abuse starters…
Well. How about there’s like a transfer place where you can go to and transfer pokemon? However, there are certain requirements that must be met on both characters before you can transfer.

  1. The character must not be under 30 days old.
  2. The starter picked must be the same on both characters.
That makes things less cheap, and sure someone could have a Blaziken and then transfer it over, while keeping a Torchic or Combusken. But come on, there isn’t much of a advantage to having the same starter but at a lower evolution line other than filling out the pokedex, which doesn’t exist in PMD.

I forgot to explain that no starter will be able to be traded over from you alternate accounts…and as for the dragon types i do understand where you are coming from.

I agree with XxSorraxX that there should be some kind of requirements as using poke, being a certain amount of days old, ect.

Charizard isn’t a Dragon-type, lol.

I hope you guys know that it’d be impossible to trade a starter? You can’t even release your starter; once it’s on your account, you’re stuck with it. ;s

Anyway, as for the suggestions:

[ul][li]Unovas: It’d be nice, but obviously we’d need sprites for them first.[/li]
[li]Dragons: Honestly, I agree. It’s annoying how if your favourite Pokemon is a Dragon-type, it won’t be released for ages because it’s ‘hax’. You see a lot less Salamence being used than a whole bunch of other Pokemon. Yes, right after it’s released it’ll be OU, but the novelty wears out after a while, and in the end only the people that actually like the Pokemon will carry on using it.[/li][*]Trading: Agreed, but personally, I think that you should only be able to trade between the 3 alts on your account.[/ul]

I hope you guys know that it’d be impossible to trade a starter? You can’t even release your starter; once it’s on your account, you’re stuck with it. ;s

I can’t say I’ve been silly/reckless enough to try that out. Nice observation. :3

I love dragons but not cuz of their stats I like dragons for their looks.

I think staff will agree with me on this. Since dragons are OP cuz of the number of weaknesses, more shouldn’t be released until fairy types are released to PMU
