Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any idea when the server is coming back online.
Probably not soon. The Staff will probably get in touch with the community sooner or later via Forum announcement. They are trying to get the PMU Pokemon Online battle simulator running - which to me sounds like an indication of a semi-long shutdown period.
The time is currently indefinite
I do wish that staff would say at least something and elaborate later, but that’s sadly no how it’s going to go. Just wait patiently, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Like I have said in the chat and in another post; there is currently no ETA on when the server is going back up, at least currently…
At this moment, we are working out some issues, and the server is currently going through some transition and uncertainties. All I can say for now is that we will update the community on what is going on at a later date, but for now you will just have to wait it out…
Like Lman has suggested… In this downtime, the chat has been fairly popular lately. We are also working on getting some minor activities up for the community to do (currently getting our PO server back up).
We apologize for the sudden downtime, and for keeping you guys out of the loop… But this is really all we can talk about on the matter until we have finished up our work with the server… When things have become more clear, we will have a news update on the forums. We are working as fast as we can to get something for you guys, but we can’t really see into the future on when we will be done with this… Thank you for being so patient.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I would say the main game/server would be as important as the Pokemon Online one… anywho, I wish the best of luck to the friendly staff that help bring it back up!
The PO server was something that we could put up to give the players something to do in the downtime. It didn’t take long, and really did not eat into maintenance time in anyway (If anything, it was actually beneficial testing).
You bring up a valid concern, but considering it didn’t take us very long to do it and it didn’t take out time for maintenance, it was completely fine to do.
another way to say when we can play PMU is this: The server may take another day or another month to get fixed. we just have to wait and find out.

I am waiting patiently, my only concern is if their is a major rollback. I mean, I only joined this year and if it’s rollbacked before I joined, my hard work would have been for nothing.

What does ETA stand for? knows very little txt speech or whatever the heck ETA would be considered

About character resets.
If it really would happen, I wouldn’t be bothered that much(character levels are pretty low).
But the problem would be the fact other people will lose their hard trained teams,would be pretty painful losing months or years of work.Could also result to quitting if you ask me.
staff team were pretty concrete about never having a character reset again after the whole fiasco from pmu 6 to 7.
