Roles of your Team

This is just a basic simple guide, about your team’s roles.
What are roles, you ask?
Roles are the roles that your pokémons take to dungeon! Didn’t explain much didn’t I? If you read all the way to the end, I can explain to you.

  • Though I am not very specialist in PMU, I played for like a thousand and five hundred hours in PMD games, each seperately.
    So here it comes, my first guide [ Hope I make more ]

Roles:
Your Team is divided withing four pokémons. Each pokémon, of all of them have a roll. From the stronghest, fastest and precise and the mages, with ranged moves. Each of these descriptions have their own names…

Physicals - These are the precise and fast pokémons. By precise I mean, take a lot of HP and are really quick, most of the times they use melee-combat. But these if atacked also lose more of their health than regular pokémons, depending of the pokémons that attack you. Also, if you are fighting with a Physical against a pokémon of a superior type, be carefull! Though specialized in Attack and Sp.Attack, are very low in Def. and Sp.Def.

Mages - These pokémons, usually have attacks with more PP, and use ranged-based-attacks. They’re not has quick as Physicals, but they make up in the damage of their magic, but do not take much damage has them. From far-away attacks, the most powerfull of their atacks, take time to charge, like Solar Beam. Others less powerfull like Watergun. Mages are not particullary specialized in anything. They’re more a free use of abilities.

Tanks - Pokémons like these, are the ones who make less damage, but have a higher resistance and HP. Some are also slower. These are usually good against bosses, but the battle WILL take longer though. Unless you can find the weakness of the pokémon, Tanks are very hard to defeat, and are specialized in Def. and Sp.Def. Also some of them cure the all team or theirselves.

ABILITIES OF THE ROLES:

Physicals - I would recommend, strongh melee-attacks, according to their types. Never use attacks that would be less strongh than the others that you have.

Mages - For Mages, recommended is absolutely ranged-attacks, with long reach to attack more pokémons than just one. I would not recommend than use more than one different type of attack.

Tanks - Try to learn attacks that affect all the pokémons in the same area as you. I would recommend Earthquake.
For Tanks there aren’t much abilities to learn, Tanks should use Buffs, but we’ll get to that.

BUFFS:

Physicals - To physicals, or either use buffs that will increase your speed, or either buffs that will increase your attack and SP.Attack.

Mages - Learn buffs to increase your attacks, or either the use of your type.

Tanks - Tanks are the ones that use more buffs, to increase their defense. Defense Curl is a very weak example of Defense Buff, but still do. Anyways, Tanks use Defense and Sp.Def buffs. Only!

And instead of calling them mages, called them something simple like Special Sweepers.
