[spoilerTiny Grotto:3ug6mkpp]Tiny Grotto

Overview: Tiny Grotto is a very easy dungeon. It should be the first dungeon to go to when you join. Its only 3 floors making it quick and easy to run around. It"s a good place to train up to level10. Roselia waits for you at the end. Roselia is fairly simple but watch out for Poison Point ability. Long Range moves will help you win.

[spoilerSeaside Cavern:3ug6mkpp]Seaside Cavern

Overview: Seaside Cavern is another fairly easy dungeon. But look out for Slowpoke"s Yawn attack. 2 moves and your asleep which can cause troubles to low lvs. Bring Chesto berries to counter that. If you do that you can easily train low lv grass and electric types. In this dungeon you need to find seaside keys to get open the stairs on floors 2-4. there is 1 key each floor found. Kingler is mostly easy. His moves are weak if your not a fire type. Don"t use physical moves. Kingler uses harden a lot. To win just use special moves and just about any type.

[spoilerSour Root Cave:3ug6mkpp]Sour Root Cave

Overview: Sour Root Cave is very easy unless your under level 15. Then you may experience some troubles. Some Budew have the ability Poison Point and know the move Poison Powder. After 4F there is a passage. Take the middle warp then take the bottom right and you will get to the stairs to Weepinbell. Weepinbell will trap you with Wrap. It also uses Grass moves like Vine Whip and powers up with growth. Try to win by attacking first. That gives you HM Cut. 5F+ is a little harder. Enemies are higher level. Vileplume is a difficult boss. You start 2 tiles away so you have to react fast. Vileplume will lower evasion with Sweet Scent. It will also confuse you with swagger and paralyze you with Stun Spore. Then it drains you with Mega Drain. Also Vileplume has the ability Effect Spore causing status problems like poison and paralysis. To use caution, use long range attacks. If you want to win, do that and play decisive from the start.

[spoilerHappiness Lake:3ug6mkpp]Happiness Lake

Overview: Happiness Lake is very easy. Its full of low level water types. Even higher Fire types can beat this dungeon. There is no boss here but a deluxe box and if you have a Pokémon that can travel on water, you can get the 85 poke at the end of the room.

[spoilerWinden Pass:3ug6mkpp]Winden Pass

Overview: Winden Pass is fairly easy at high level but difficult for lower levels. The enemies have high defense(especially Lairon). Also it hails in the upper floors. If your HP is lower than 125 you will gradually lose HP as you run. Its only 10 floors with no boss making this a little easier. I suggest bringing Oran berries or weather moves like Sunny Day. Once you beat Winden Pass you will enter the Winden Region.

Overview: Sunny Hillside is very easy. All enemies are low lv and have low stats. Almost any pokemon can beat this place. Though its sunny most of the time, water types can still dominate.

[spoilerThunderstorm Forest:3ug6mkpp]Thunderstorm Forest

Overview:Thunderstorm Forest is easy for higher levels but if under level 40, it will be difficult especially for water types. Electric types are everywhere. They will paralyze you with the ability static or the move Thunder Wave. The deeper part is even harder[. There they are higher level and some are evolved. The first boss is Shinx which is very weak. Once you beat Shinx, Luxray will fight you. Charge will power it up. Even if you run Discharge has a high chance of hitting you. When up close it will use Leer and Swagger. No matter what you will get attacked but using long range attacks still give you the best chance.
Note: If you are lucky you will find a Cheri Scarf in the dungeon which is very handy. That item can increase your chances of winning by 50%.

Overview: Cliffside Cave has some challenges to it. Grimer will poison you with Poison Gas. Zubat will confuse you with Confuse Ray. If either of these happen you have a good chance of fainting if there are many Pokémon near you. Golem is a difficult boss. He has very high HP. Golems Rock Tomb and Bulldoze will decrease speed so you cant recover HP as fast. With his high HP it would be best to bring a grass or water type to fight.
Note: After the battle there is a sparkle in the wall. Walk in front of it and press enter to obtain the Engraved Tablet. This is the item that will allow you to enter a room so you can evolve when certain conditions are met.

Overview: Winden Forest is a little difficult. Hail will damage you. Snowver"s Powder Snow spam will usually freeze or kill you. A fire type of a Pokémon with more than 125HP has a good chance of beating this place. Though the Snover minions are weak, their powder snow will gradually decrease your HP. Abomasnow is very strong. He uses powerful moves like Wood Hammer. The best way to win is to spam Fire moves.

Overview: Sauna Cavern is fairly difficult. Zubat will confuse you with Confuse Ray. Torkoal can use Will-O-Wisp. Slugma can burn you with Flame Body. In B10F+ the water will burn you if you step on it. Rhydon is a tough boss. The biggest threat is Dig. he is a master at using it. He doesn"t miss very often so you have to run away before he pops back up. Winning will give you HM Rock Smash. Nothing is Recruitable in the depths are the Pokémon there are evolved and stronger. Rhyperior is even stronger than Rhydon with more HP and power. Rhyperior also has dig with other strong moves like Bulldoze. Attacking fast with Super Effective moves gives the best change of winning. However you need to run away from some attacks to regain HP so be careful.

[spoilerCrystal Ruins:3ug6mkpp]Crystal Ruins

Overview: Crystal ruins is a fairly difficult dungeon. Its filled with ice types who love to freeze you. Gastly will immobilize you with Mean Look then can curse you so you take damage while you try to get free so its a deadly combo. Gastly will also put you to sleep with Hypnotize. The first boss is Mamoswine. Mamoswine loves to use dig so try to run around the attack when he pops up. A water or fire type has a good chances of beating him. Crystal Castle is even harder. The enemies are evolved and stronger. Also stepping on the water will freeze you if your not ice type. athroughout the dungeon Regice may appear. Regice is very strong at level 80 wth powerful moves like Zap Cannon and Hyper Beam. If you beat him there is a 10% chance it will drop TM Icebeam. The 2nd boss is a strong and clever group of three pokemon: 1 froslass and 2 Haunter. Haunter are very tricky with moves like Destiny Bond and Curse. Frosass has the ability Cursed Body which will seal the first move used on it. Froslass also uses tough moves like Powder Snow. Together this trio is very hard to beat. Even lv 100s can lose with ease if your not prepared. If a Haunter uses Destiny Bond, don"t attack it. Try to kill the Haunter first so froslass doesn"t seal a move at the beginning. Tricks like this will help you win.

Overview: Mineral Cavern is completely water types. They can give you troubles. Corphish will use Protect a lot. Overview: Mt Skylift is a popular dungeon for its training qualities. It starts easy but gets harder at higher floors. At level 40 you should start seeing this dungeon as easy. At level 40+ you should be able to really train here. Here are things to look out for in this dungeon. This dungeon is full of flying types. Also some pokemon like Skiploom and Beautifly use moves like Stun Spore and Poison Power and sometimes Sleep Powder. Chatot will use sing so this place is the mountain of status problems. The different weather conditions that appear are Rainy, Sunny, and Foggy so use these to your advantage. If you are above level 40 and want to level up fast, this is the dungeons to be at.

[spoilerSouthern Sea:3ug6mkpp]Southern Sea

Overview: Southern Sea starts easy but progressively gets very difficult. The first few floors are easy. The only difficulty here is Tentacool"s Wrap. Later in the dungeons your enemies are evolved and leveled up making more challenges. Both Tentacool and Tentacruel know supersonic so you have to be cautious. The final part is hard. Not only are the Pokémon high level and evolved but its very dark making it difficult to see what"s around you. I suggest bringing an X-ray specs so you are able to see. It would also be smart to bring a Pokémon that resists water attacks. The bosses Huntail and Gorebyss are a tough team to beat. They both spam surf which can easily kill almost anything. Also Gorebyss will gain HP with Aqua Ring. I found 2 ways to help you win.

  1. Use strong attacks and be quicker with attacks.
  2. Use Fly, Dig, or just run away during the surf spams so your enemies kill themselves without yourself taking damage.
If you can make it through or very far in, you have found a great place to train. Even higher levels will have fun training here.

[spoilerMt. Barricade:3ug6mkpp]Mt. Barricade

Overview: Mt. Barricade is a difficult dungeon. The first few floors alone have challenges to them. Paras knows Poison Powder and Stun Spore. Diglett"s Arena Trap will immobilize you if your not a flying type. After 10F you will see the first of 3 mazes. Each maze will have cracks in the ground that act like warps. In the first one you must take these cracks: middle, top, right, top. After this the Pokémon are evolved and much stronger. After 19F you will find the 2nd maze. To pass this one you must go top, left, top to the first boss group. This group is very hard. All the Hariyama spam Earthquake so the best way to win is to bring a flying type or a Pokémon with Levitate. That way you can live while your enemies beat each other. After the boss is the final maze. to beat this one go bottom, top, left, top, top. After 30F you will face the 2nd boss group. it is a monster house basically and all they do is spam moves while surrounding you. I cant give much more advise than to spam your moves until out of PP. That is your best chance.

Overview: Lenile Cavern is filled with Water and Grass types. Do not use water moves. They are not very effective on most Pokémon and Poliwhirl and Poliwrath absorb them for HP gain. Also there are ground types here too so electric types are not the best choice either. Grass types are useful for the floors but not the boss. Later Pokémon are evolved and much stronger. In the later floors it gets dark. You can only see a radius of 5 tiles so I advise bringing an X-ray Specs. Lapras is a tough boss. Sing will put you to sleep. Water Pulse may confuse you. Ice Beam is powerful and can freeze you. These are all traps for you if you get caught. Use electric moves or use Pokémon that can fall asleep. This is your best chance for victory.

[spoilerPitch-Black Abyss:3ug6mkpp]Pitch-Black Abyss

Overview: Pitch Black Abyss is a very challenging dungeon. You can"t bring any items. You can only bring 1 Pokémon. This Pokémon will be set at level 100. All of your opponents are very strong and tricky. Most if not all ghost types can you Curse so you will continue taking damage as you attack. Some Ghosts can also use Hypnosis too so Curse + Hypnosis while getting attacked = almost certain death. Avoid ghost types at all costs because not only that they can immobilize you with Mean Look. They also know grudge and Destiny Bond so attack only when you absolutely have to. Ninetails can burn you with Will-O-Wisp. Beedrill will prevent damage a little bit with Substitute. The Pokémon I mentioned above are the biggest threats but all Pokémon here can Destroy you. There are all kinds of traps here so be prepared for anything and everything. Pitch-Black Abyss has no floors but rather many rooms to travel around. You have to navigate through many different room to find the final room. If you switch back and forth for rooms they will almost always be different over time. Room that appear go 1-4 ways or a giant maze that goes 4 different ways.(North, South, East, West) Every time you enter this place, the final room is in a different location. The final room is easy to spot. it has lava in it that looks like a skull. In all 4 corners or the room is a warp. Each warp will take you to the same boss group so it doesn"t matter which you choose. The boss group is very tough. Drapion is about stats. Drapion will raises its teammates" stats high by spamming Acupressure. Defeat him first or you have a very high chance of losing. Ninetails is more about strategy. Ninetails will use Imprison to seal a move and Fine Spin to immobilize you. Defeat him next. That will lave Xatu. You have to beat Xatu as quick as you can. Xatu is powerful and loves to heal himself when taking damage with roost. You have to defeat him immediately before he heals again so you don"t lose PP. That is the path to victory over this boss group. Not many people can beat this place so its like an accomplishment to do so.

Note: Though you can create parties here, you will split up to different rooms even if you take to same direction. Because of this you have to beat Pitch-Black Abyss all by yourself.

[spoilerTanren Tunnel:3ug6mkpp]Tanren Tunnel

Overview: Tanren Tunnel is a difficult dungeon. Many Pokémon are troublesome. Zubat uses Confuse Ray. Koffing uses Poison Gas. Diglett can trap you with Arena Trap and uses Magnetude which can be powerful. Later on Pokémon are just as smart but are evolved. You will experience many of the same threats with them. Also their moves are very strong. For example Weezing"s Sludge Bomb. The best chance is bringing a water steel or flying type to counter strong moves. Having 2 of those types is best and being at level 40 or higher will give best results.
Note: You have to beat Tanren Tunnel before you can reach the Tanren Region in any way. Whether its through the cave or flying.

[spoilerBeach Bunker:3ug6mkpp]Beach Bunker

Overview: Beach Bunker is fairly easily. But it gets harder in areas. There are many water, rock, steel, and ground types. Many Pokémon know Protect. Wooper knows Yawn. Almost every Pokémon knows some kind of stat raising move like Harden and Amnesia. Later Pokémon are evolved but with the right types and strength you can easily beat them. The boss group is difficult like most others. They are all water type. Mantine is powerful and heals with Aqua Ring. Mantyke uses Confuse Ray. Remoraid Uses Focus Energy to raise the chance of critical hits. Using SuperEffective moves or AoEs are the best ways to win.

[spoilerSnowveil Den:3ug6mkpp]Snowveil Den

Overview: Snowveil Den is a very difficult dungeon. This place is filled with ice and electric types. The first few floors are fill with 1st stage Pokémon but don"t get fooled. Though they may seem weak they are powerful. Later on gets even more extreme. Throughout the dungeon you will get paralyzed and frozen. Also it hails a lot. It"s dark in the dungeon too. If you get past that you will face the first boss. Beartic is strong. All his moves are powerful. Especially Superpower. If you lose health just run around until you are gained. Its best to use a fire type on him for supereffective moves and to resist moves. Snowveil Lair is even more difficult. Pokémon are fully evolved and high level. Getting in the middle of these fierce Pokémon is not a good idea even when training. They have powerful moves too. Don"t bring steel types unless you have it hold a Shed Shell. That will give you an advantage of types and the Magnemite family and Probopass can immobilize you with Magnet Pull. The boss group is insane. The raise stats from Umbreon"s Helping Hand. The resist damage from moves with Clefable"s Reflect and Light Screen. Grumpig and Hitmonlee are the offensive Pokémon of the group. Grumpig specializes in special moves like Energy Ball and Signal Beam. All his moves are different types. Hitmonlee is best with physical moves like High Jump Kick and Poison Jab. Hitmonlee boosts critical hit ratio with Focus Energy. I suggest brining plenty of reviver seeds for this one. With many types of moves there is no perfect type to use but if I had to pick some with the best resistances I"d say steel and fighting but those still have weaknesses so be careful. Also keep attacking as much as you can and try to win.

Nothing is Recruitable in this dungeon.
Overiview for Floors 1-20: Like every part there are so many fighting types. This part is fairly easy. Every Pokmeon has some kind of stat raising move though. Heres some examples: Meditite has Acupressure. Croagunk has Nasty Plot. Gligar has Harden. After 10F Pokempon are a little stronger and use stat moves AND attacking moves. Solrock will use Heal Block to prevent you from recovering HP so be careful of that. With all the fighting it is best to bring a flying or psychic type.

Tanren Training Dojo Top Left Path

Overview: This path is difficult. Pokémon are fully evolved and high leveled. Hippowdon"s Sand Stream creates a sandstorm to lower your HP. Nidoking"s Earth Power is both powerful and long range which causes troubles. Don"t use a Flying type here. Solrock knows Rock Throw which can easily kill you. Instead use a psychic type. Probopass has the ability Magnet Pull giving steel types a huge disadvantage. Hitmonlee is the boss to this path. Hitmonlee uses all physical moves. They are all different types so many types are at risk. The best type though is flying. Nothing is supereffective and you have an advantage over him. If you get injured you can run around and gain without much trouble because Hitmonlee"s moves are very short range. You can even fight from the water with barely any threat. If you use those tricks, the powerful Hitmonlee becomes easy.

Hitmonchan is the boss of this path. He specializes in punching moves and can be deadly if your not careful. Ice Punch can burn you. Thunder Punch can paralyze you. Fire Punch can burn you. you if you get hit you may have problems. if low on HP run away and don"t get too close. Almost any type will have a disadvantage so just about anything goes. However do try to use a psychic type since their are no disadvantages. That will help secure victory.

I wish you good luck on the guide, but I’d like to point out that Roselia is spelled wrong. It’s supposed to be Roselia, not Roslia.

thx for telling me I tend to make mistake so its nice that someone can be nice enough to point things out

Ehe. The PMU Wiki kind of has this, but you can always add your own advice to make it your guide.

Kingler also drops mystic water.

thx never knew that

roseila drops sun stone I believe

added thx

Thunderstorm Forest added
Jailbreak Tunnel added

Interesting. I like it. I admit, you must have put countless effort in that, but another such guide already exists. Let me link it to you. It was made long ago, so maybe you can get some help from it? viewtopic.php?f=47&t=4501 or maybe you could simply send the user some details and he could add it in his guide? This was on the main page a while back. It’s outdated but surely it is very helpful.

I can see its outdated by the RR but it can help me with this. and I will do every dungeon except for TC for since voltray is doing that.

and yes ive taken lots of time working on this. ive been collecting data for 5 weeks now.
well back to editing.

im trying to edit almost everyday. that’s how dedicated to this guide I am.

Crystal Ruins added

Keep up the great work on this guide.

yeah im trying to edit everyday and im going to be adding Island Garden next if you care

Island Garden added

ive done lots of editing so I have many dungeons in but missing some contect I think. if you wish to help plz do so for the dungeons I have complete I still have many dungeons to do when I have time but I would really appreciate any help on the dungeons on this guide atm.
thx for all your support I will keep editing and if a new dungeons is released it will be on this guide shortly after so ppl know about it.

[insert long critique of this guide.]
Thanks for reading, pal. Just trying to help. c:
[hr][/hr]
I’d like you to go over what you’ve written in the guide.

Overview: Island Garden is hard for lower lvs.

Shouldn’t you type out the whole word? It’s only three more characters, so not much effort is needed for that.

Some Pokémon poison you wile others paralyze you.

  • while others paralyze you.

Some can even do both which is very deadly over time in the dungeon.

Comma needed after “both”, but I won’t stress on that.

However the Pokémon are weak s if you have rest or some other anti status problem strategy you have a good chance because the same Pokémon appear throughout the dungeon.

A pretty long sentence which I have a hard time trying to understand. @@

I think you meant:

“However, the Pokemon are weak, so if you have Rest or some other Anti Status strategy, you’ll have a good shot at beating the dungeon.”
[hr][/hr]
Yeah, you can probably be a bit more complex in the BB Code Editing such as:

Floors 1-7
Sunkern 8.2%
Pidgey 7.2%
Doduo 6.4%

Capitalize titles, such as “Floors 1-7”, names, and so on. Not to mention, you might want to give us a heads up of what the percentages mean. I’m assuming recruit rate, but not everyone might know.
[hr][/hr]
If you want some more data, the PMU Wiki already has it. (They’ve done a good job giving us a description of the dungeon, the items, and the Pokemon inside it.)
[hr][/hr]

About the “Overviews” . . .

I think you can break it up into two sections. One giving us a general idea of what to expect in a dungeon, and another with your tips and strategies for said dungeon.

Example:
Evolution Guide

I have the “Mission Brief” where I go over the following:

• What Dungeon I’m talking about. (Where.)
• What to expect. (What the main theme of the dungeon is, types, status conditions, ect.)
• Ren’s Recommendations. (Mainly my opinion of how I’d handle this dungeon and the things I look out for. Based on facts, but again, my opinion.)
[hr][/hr]
Anyways to sum it up:

• Please use Spell / Grammar check. (Preferably Microsoft word, or if you’re confident enough in your abilities, use your gut.)

• Give us a key of what some things in the guide mean.

• Split up the Overview.

• Make this more personalized. Again, the PMU Wiki already has most of the information regarding Pokemon in Dungeons, Item Drops, ect. Share your strategies and tips on how to beat a dungeon, or how to make the journey a little bit easier.
[hr][/hr]
Cheers,
Ren.

ok thx I will try to fox things up so people understand it better

I heard someone call me.

anyway, I remember someone said they hatched a combee in island garden.

My point exactly. . . -insert spell check here.-
