My friend recently got a new computer, and we just got PMU working. But he has forgot his password. His character and account name should both be catnet77. And I was hoping we could recover his password so that he doesn’t have to start over. If you need anything else, I’ll be more than happy to supply it.

There’s a way around this though!
Your friend needs to contact the admins, (AKA Erladino and / or ChaotixBluix) for support. They’ll end up asking questions related to that account though for security reasons. Once they have been answered correctly, they should be able to recover it. The best way to get in touch is probably via PM on the forum, or Skype.

Alternatively, if they did save their password and account on their old pc, they could boot that up and check the settings.xml file. This will display the password that is presently being used to be able to access said account.
